UK Galleries where you can currently view Hugo’s paintings

You can currently view some of Hugo’s landscape paintings at Gallery Tresco on the Isles of Scilly, the exhibition opened on September 20th to a very good reception. Hugo first visited Tresco in 1997, and was so enchanted by the island that he returned to paint there the following summer with his young family and continued to find great inspiration in the heightened sense of light and colour there for many years. He returned this May for the first time in a decade and has been beguiled all over again by its enchanting ways. Here is a quote from the gallery’s website;

“Our artists, both established and newcomers, have surpassed themselves with this diverse body of work. The collection covers all that we know and love about these magical islands, plus that element of the unexpected too. Worth a mention is of course, the gentle reprise from international artist Hugo Grenville of his beloved isles after some time away. What could be more fitting to round off this year of sensational art at Gallery Tresco. One of our best? Without a doubt.”

Hugo is also currently exhibiting at Josie Eastwood Fine Art’s stunning new gallery space in Stockbridge, Hampshire which you can see more of here. The exhibition runs from September 26th to October 13th.
